A large-scale art event supported by the Culture Department of Lviv City Council. «Paper Endures Everything». This is not a children’s exhibition. It is an art space where children become not spectators but creators, and their voices — heard. The exhibition of paintings, three-dimensional geometric compositions and fantastic flowers is inspired by the Ukrainian avant-garde. This project is about a living dialogue between child and adult, between tradition and reinterpretation. Between the avant-garde of the early 20th century and the free expression of children, not yet spoiled by templates. Ukrainian avant-garde — rhythmic, colourful, with simple forms — became an organic backdrop for children’s creativity, which is so similar to it in its freedom. The project is part of our school’s annual theme — «Ukrainians Who Changed the World». In art classes, the children explored the work of Exter, Malevich, Petrytskyj, Burliuk, Sobachko-Shostak. The project also presents several filmed theatrical productions by our students. This is a reinterpretation of classics: from Hlibov’s fables to shadow theatre based on «The Forest Song». We deliberately do not call these works «children’s art» in a diminishing sense. On the contrary — this is art that still has the courage to be honest. This is not just about aesthetics, but about presence. About the significance of children’s experience. And ultimately, about the fact that paper endures everything — even the boldest ideas. We look forward to seeing you on 1 June, Children’s Day, at LEM Station. Starting at 12:00. Entry is free.
